Most of the fixer market in Ireland is built around film and TV. Stills is quietly underserved, and it is its own discipline. A fashion campaign or an e-commerce day does not need a film unit; it needs a producer who knows the daylight studios, the location owners, the best hair and make-up and styling teams, and how to keep a shoot moving on a tight day rate. That is what we run.
What we produce.
Fashion campaigns and editorial, e-commerce and catalogue, lookbooks, advertising and brand stills, portrait, food and drink, and travel. We scale from a single photographer on a location day to a full campaign unit with a studio, built sets, styling teams and casting. You can come with your own photographer and team and we handle everything around them, or we attach a photographer where a client needs one.

Ireland gives a wide backdrop palette in a small country. Georgian Dublin doors, fanlights and red-brick squares for classic fashion and portrait. The cliffs and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way for editorial and campaign. Connemara bog and mountain, ancient woodland and country estates, the colour-washed terraces of Cobh, and modern glass in the Dublin Docklands. A shoot can move from urban to wild coast in a single drive, which is rare.
Studios, crew and the stills team.
Dublin has daylight and blackout photographic studios, cyc walls and equipment houses, and we book against your spec: ceiling height, drive-in access, cyc, a kitchen for food work, parking and turnaround. Around the camera we book the stills crew, digital techs, photo assistants, gaffers, hair and make-up artists, stylists and assistants, set and prop, and coordinate casting and models through Irish casting and model agencies, with the buyouts, usage and call-sheet logistics that a stills shoot needs.
Permits for stills are lighter, mostly.
Photo shoots usually carry a lighter permit load than film. A small crew shooting handheld on public footpath can often proceed with minimal formality. But the moment you bring trucks, tripods and lighting into the public realm, close a footpath, or shoot a recognisable private property or heritage site, the same council, OPW and private-owner routes apply as for film. We advise per location and secure what is needed so the shoot day is clean.
Straight on tax: Section 481 is for film, TV drama, animation and documentary. Stills and advertising do not qualify. The reasons to shoot stills in Ireland are the locations, the crew, English-speaking EU access and value, and we will tell you that honestly rather than imply a credit you cannot claim.
